The latest health trend at the moment is Cold Pressed Juice, so of course I am getting on board! As someone who is interested in eating for health and well-being, I believe there can’t be a negative to nurturing your body and trying to make it the best it can be.

Impressed Juices

This morning I started my day with some cold pressed juice. According to converts of cold press juices; “these juices contain more vitamins, minerals and enzymes than those made with a traditional centrifugal machine. It’s all in the method, apparently, as the fresh fruit and vegetables are, as the name suggests, “pressed” so the maximum amount of nectar is extracted from the pulp and fibre, leaving a raw and fresh juice” (source).

The juice I had this morning was from Impressed Juices and was called Summer Greens. It contains spinach, pineapple, kale, apple, cucumber and mint – such a clean mix and I felt cleaner just drinking it!

Impressed Juices claim that their juices are,”cold pressed from fresh produce and never heat treated. Each juice contains 100% Aussie-grown fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs which we carefully cold press and bottle locally resulting in full flavoured and irresistibly aromatic fresh juice”.

Cold pressed juice is meant to improve your immunity and raise energy levels because they are packed with live ingredients that are an instant health hit to your body. “The chlorophyll contained in green juices helps keep your blood healthy. Green juices are very oxygenating and give you clear skin and bright eyes.”
